A single-layer belt model custom-developed for sorting fresh-cut French fries and pre-fried French fries. Adopting AI-powered high-resolution RGB visible light imaging technology, combined with continuous top-view and off-belt parabolic dual-mode inspection, it efficiently removes various defects that are hard to identify by traditional sorting equipment. Deep learning is applied to continuously optimize the precision of machine vision sorting.
During French fries processing, even minor color differences, surface blemishes or irregular shapes may compromise product consistency and damage brand reputation. Manual sorting alone is slow with volatile quality and high labor costs, failing to keep pace with high-speed production lines. Besides, French fries may flip and stack randomly on the belt. Traditional single-sided inspection tends to create blind zones, resulting in missed detection or false rejection.
The HWFT Series is an intelligent machine vision sorting system custom-designed to tackle the above challenges. Featuring a unique dual-mode inspection architecture (belt top-view inspection + off-belt parabolic inspection), it is equipped with high-resolution RGB (HR-RGB) visible light imaging technology, integrated with self-developed AI algorithms and high-performance pneumatic ejectors. It can effectively identify and reject discoloration, surface defects, shape abnormalities and foreign materials from French fries, greatly improving finished product consistency and providing solid assurance for food safety.
Its AI-powered surface defect recognition algorithm is trained via deep learning with real production data, enabling continuous improvement of sorting accuracy. With stable and reliable sorting performance, the algorithm helps French fry processors drastically reduce reliance on manual labor while upgrading product quality and processing efficiency.
